Meet Our Superstar Succulent Florist - Tahnee

My name is Tahnee, I’m the owner of Miller Rose Botanic. A Perth based florist and succulent designer.

Early in 2020, while on maternity leave I decided I really needed a hobby. Something to keep me busy while I was self isolating with my five month old daughter. My Mum suggested making succulent arrangements, I had never made one before but thought I’d give it a go. Turns out I absolutely loved making them!

My little hobby quickly turned into a business and now I’m not only creating succulent arrangements but beautiful florals for weddings!

When I’m not working I love spending time with my family. Whether it be lazy days at home (as lazy as you can possibly be with a nearly two year old) or exploring the beautiful state we live in.

Most of my time is spent creating beautiful florals for small weddings and elopements. As a business, we are really conscious of our social and environmental impact.

We do not use any floral foam in any of our work, we use local, seasonal flowers as much as possible and donate to environmental causes.

We are working towards using only Australian grown flowers and setting up our own home composting for all green waste.

When it’s not wedding season I love hosting succulent arrangement workshops, sharing all of the tips and tricks I have learned to keep them happy and healthy!
