Our resident sewing enthusiast will teach you the sewing essentials, including sewing machine basics, creating from a basic pattern and constructing a usable item (that won't fall apart). During the workshop, you will learn sewing tips & tricks to help you become a sewing pro in no time.
In this session learning how to sew your own Christmas stocking! Which includes a stocking pattern that you can take home and practise your new skills. Your stocking can be customisable to your style, BYO fabric, or we will have fabric packs available to purchase on the day for $10.
This beginners workshop is perfect for anyone who has always wanted to try sewing or learn sewing basics, which can be used beyond the workshop to create your own pieces, mend items and make stocking gifts for your family and friends.
Included in this workshop:
- All materials required to sew your stocking on the day
- An introduction to sewing basics
- How to cut out a basic pattern
- A Sewing machine to use on the day. We want to make sure we are experts in the machines you are using so that if any issues arise we can troubleshoot them ASAP. Additionally making sure we have enough spare parts so everyone can enjoy the session without worry.
