Meet Emilie Otto, Owner/Creative Director at House of Hobby.

She’s on a mission to make people’s lives a more joy-filled, by helping them find a creative hobby!

After years of working as a freelance designer I felt burnt out and exhausted, I’d made no time for my hobbies and self-care was constantly on the bottom of my to-do list.

I started teaching creative workshops to escape from behind the computer and connect with people who wanted to make more time for creativity. Sharing my creative skills and inspiring other people to take time for their hobbies became addictive, it fills me with joy and a sense of purpose.

This flows beyond the attendees in our workshops, supporting other artists and makers to share their skills and helping them feel empowered to share their stories is just as important.

Passion, creativity and balance will always will be at the core of everything I do.
